"The Chimney." Doesn't really do it justice, but I was unable to find an angle that did ... For many years, this was the primary trail to the top of the Sleeping Giant on Lake Superior. Having seen the bottom of the Chimney, I'm heartily glad it's no longer recommended. Imagine 250 metres of 45° slippery loose rock. Especially after you heard tales from a former coast guard-equivalent about rescuing people with broken limbs after their attempts on the Chimney ...
