There are a lot of vendors like this one on the streets of Mumbai. They feed sugar cane into a crusher, and the juice flows over a block of ice. This is then sold as a drink. I would have loved to try it, but ice in Mumbai is generally made with tap water which is essentially poisonous to Westerners.
