Sequoia Sempervirens - giant redwoods, Muir Woods, California. There are two types of redwoods, and most people tend to think of pictures of cars driving through trees. Those are found farther inland - they're wider but not as tall. These are probably the tallest trees in the world: they can reach 400 feet, although the ones in this grove only reach about 250 feet. It's beautiful.
