This set of photos was shot at Karl's request: he needed an author photo for one of his publishers. I asked if Janice and their daughter could be present for some of the photos, and we did that. At Karl's request I'm not posting any photos including their daughter, but since this is something of a sales pitch, I'm going to mention that some of them came out very nicely. I've never taken many photos of people, but I really enjoyed doing this and I think a number of these came out well: this is a standing invitation to any of my friends who want a portrait taken to give me call.
