Got a new camera over Christmas, a Canon SX10 IS. As with my older Nikon 5400, the low end of the lens is (in 35mm equivalent terms) 28mm. But this is one of the "superzooms," going up to 20x optical. And it has image stabilization, which I really wanted. And it's 10MP - although you won't really notice that posted on the web. And (just one more) it has more accurate colours than the Nikon.
